Aaron Mears M.D – APFS Certs CII (MP & ER)

I have worked in the financial services industry since 1990, gaining extensive experience working for one of Europe’s largest asset managers. Having started my career providing technical support to advisers, I fulfilled my ambition to join a small advisory firm in 2005. This firm was big on ‘culture’ and I learned a great deal about maintaining client relationships and developing a first-class service.

Keen to take the reins, I set up RDP Financial Services Ltd in 2012, which was then changed to Willow Financial Planning Ltd a few years later. It has been an amazing journey and we are proud of what we have achieved. We continue to develop the way in which we provide support to our customers and we are never satisfied that we are doing enough.

Other interests mainly surround my Family. I’ve a wife, four children, one grandchild and a dog. I really like Lego (it’s all at the office), but this often stays in the box waiting for me to find the time to actually build it. I’ve run 6 marathons to date and would love to get another one under my belt before my legs give up. I’ve an ambition to be multi-lingual, as well as a desire to be able to play the piano at parties (which I haven’t the time to go to).
